Nice hub, I wish I could own pet, but my grandma does not want any. We used to have a dog that lived 14 years. I agree with what cats do. They are VERY good at finding mice...and other rodents.
Good Hub... all pet lovers will agree! I never realized how effective cats are at bug hunting. I have centipedes and they creep me out...not anymore because I have "bug control" in a cat! Better than pesticide any day and environmentally friendly. Plus there is that bonus of being greeted with such ceremony every day I come in the door! Priceless. Voted up!
I don't need a reason to own a pet, I just love having the company of them. It doesn't matter what type either, although I do love my Sassie, she's a great dog to have around. She's great at getting rid of bugs and pests too. Pets are good for lots of reasons.
Lady, I just looked in to see those legs, I wasn't disappointed.
My book will be out in a few days. It will be on Amazon, and it is titled, "EYES OF EMERALD." H
enjoyed your hub very much..I have always had pets growing up and when our last pet passed I found it hard to get another one fearing the loss of another..but finally did get two little dogs and I love them so much they are like my children..they bring so much joy into my life I am ill and sometimes it gets tiring dealing with never feeling well..but now that I have my doggies it's alot easier and so much better because they are such little characters and they keep me laughing and some day I don't have time to feel ill..thank you for sharing :o)
hello to you again!
i prefer dogs over cat. though cats are fun when they are still little kittens. dogs serve but cats are served ha ha they are little kings and queens. dogs are every loyal.
Love this hub because it is all true! I'm 25 years old and have always had a pet, to be honest I've always had at least 2, and at one point actually had 9 (2 cats, 1 rabbit, 1 hamster and 5 guinea pigs). Now I'm down to 3, a kitten, rabbit and hamster. Owning a pet really does bring happiness !!
Hi Ladybird33. Great hub!
I made my boyfriend to a pet. I have no choice. He says, we're going to move to Hawaii, to have a pet before move to HI isn't that good (HI does have restrictions)... but we're moving, we're moving, we're moving ... I don't know how long it's going to be... for all time? No pet forever? Sorry, I have to finish this comment right now. My 'pet' is waiting to be walked...

Totally agree. I have been used to dogs most of my life and those brief periods I have spent without a dog have definitely felt empty and that something is missing from life.
